VIP In-Patient Services:
Internally managed service sections, the medical staff in this department are senior and junior consultants and specialists as well as senior technologists. In total there are four suites available with us A Royal Suite & Three VIP suites.
The Royal Suite is with a separate reception inside, followed by a Visitors lounge, Visitors rest room, Attendants room with two beds for attendants and a rest room, separate(in addition to the common) entrance to the patient room, a Master Bed room for patient with attached rest room.
Each of the three VIP Suites has a visitor’s room with rest room, a pantry, an attendant room with separate rest room, and a master patient room with a common as well as separate entrance too.
Suites are provided with electric beds, color TVs, refrigerators, microwave, cooking range, set of sofas, ward robes, and with Suction Pump. Patient monitors, Blood glucose monitor, Defibrillator, Continuous blood glucose monitoring system, Transfusion pump and an ECG machine are all available for convenient treatment, resuscitation and comfortable living.
The Royal Suite and a single VIP suite shall be permanently booked for the Chairman of SEHA so that they are readily available for use to the needs identified to him through the Diwan’s of the United Arab Emirates. These two suites shall not be released for use by any other VIP without the express permission of the Chairman, SEHA.
The release of the remaining two VIP Suites is authorized by the Head of Patient Affairs, Al RAHBA Hospital, in consultation with the Hospital Director and Medical Director. VIP rooms are primarily intended for use by designated VIPs as per SEHA Policy on “Utilization of VIP Services at SEHA facilities (SEHA/CORA – 001); When available, VIP rooms may be used by persons who are not designated as VIPs, if their insurance coverage allows for such services or based on a pre- determined fee schedule for those whose insurance plans do not cover VIP rooms (under the ‘National Health Insurance – Daman’).
No Patient permits to admit VIP Suite unless the health and medical conditions are settled and assured by the physicians. Patients with Infectious Diseases are not allowed to admit VIP rooms. The rooms and/or occupation will be documented in the Hospitals Daily statistical operations Bed-State Report.
The Nurses working in this service play important role in patient care. They are responsible for helping patients release stress and make as much of a relaxed and friendly environment for patients. The guiding principle of this unit is “The satisfaction of the Patient is our greatest reward”.
Financial Commitments:
  • For designated VIPs and those with insurance coverage allowance for VIP rooms, Daman/Patient will be charged the standard SEHA approved room rate.
  • For non-designated VIPs with Daman coverage allowance for non-VIP rooms, Daman will be billed for the approved room type as per the insurance policy and the patient will be responsible for the surcharge fee as per schedule.
  • For non-Daman insured non-designated VIPs, patient will be responsible for the standard VIP room rate plus the surcharge fee as per schedule .When non-designated VIPs with no insurance coverage allowance for VIP rooms wish to utilize VIP rooms, the Head of Patient Affairs/authorized PRO will inform them of the charges and will coordinate with the RCM Dept on the process for collecting deposits as per the Hospital policy.
