 Instructions for watchers
Special instructions for the watcher / relative who stays with the patient :
  • It is our policy that only one person at a time is allowed to stay with the patient and male watchers/relative are not allowed in female wards.
These guidelines are to be followed by the watcher/relative:
  • With additional payment, food/beverages will be served to the watcher.
  • Washing your hands is one of the best defenses for preventing and controlling the spread of infection to you and the patient.
  • Should you need to assist the patient to mobilize or go for a walk, please ask for appropriate instructions from the nursing staff.
  • Patients who are sick cannot fight off infections as easily as healthy people; therefore, please do not stay with the patient if you are not feeling well.
In case, the patient is admitted to an isolation room, you must ask for the permission and appropriate instructions from nursing staff before you enter the patient’s room.
